Practitioners who appear on this website have been required to complete a detailed
questionnaire providing information on their training, experience, professional
indemnity insurance, membership of the professional statutory and voluntary
organizations to which they belong and other relevant information as an indication
of their suitability and commitment to working with the NHS and treating
NHS patients.
Information relating to the various therapists, schools, organizations and
businesses listed on this website, is as supplied to us by those people and
organizations. To be listed here is not a proof of professionalism or that
the persons or organizations are qualified and competent.
Their appearance on this website is not an endorsement
of the practitioners by the NHS, the NACC, the Department of Health, the Editor,
Publisher nor
any contributor to this website whatsoever. Nor does it indicate that treatment
by any practitioner who appears in it or in its associated publication will
be funded by the National Health Service.
Patients seeking complementary therapy on the National Health Service must
first approach their NHS G.P. It is then for the G.P. to decide to prescribe
a CAM therapy and to refer the patient to a particular therapist.
